1. General Information RentCarsGeorgia ("Platform", "We", "Us") operates as an independent intermediary connecting users ("Clients") with local car rental providers ("Partners") in Georgia. We do not own, manage, or operate any vehicles listed on the platform. All vehicles are owned and operated solely by the Partners. The Platform provides: Online reservation tools Verification and monitoring of listed vehicles Secure partial prepayment processing Communication support between Client and Partner The Platform is not a rental company and does not provide transportation services. 2. Booking & Payment 2.1. Booking Process Clients can reserve vehicles directly on the website. The reservation is confirmed once a partial prepayment ("Service Fee") is successfully processed. 2.2. Prepayment (Service Fee) The Client pays only a portion of the total rental price through the Platform. This amount represents the Platform service fee, not a rental payment. The remaining balance is paid directly to the Partner at vehicle pick-up, in the payment method indicated on the vehicle listing (cash, card, or other options). 2.3. No Commission Disclosure The Platform does not disclose internal commission structures to Clients or Partners. The prepayment amount varies depending on vehicle class, rental duration, Partner policies, and seasonal factors. 2.4. Price Display All prices on the Platform are provided by the Partner. The Platform may adjust minor discrepancies or obvious errors for clarity and accuracy. 3. Cancellation Policy 3.1. Free Cancellation The Client may cancel a reservation at least 24 hours before pick-up time and receive a full refund of the prepayment. 3.2. Late Cancellation / No-Show If the Client cancels less than 24 hours before pick-up, or does not appear at all, the prepayment is non-refundable. 3.3. Partner No-Show / Vehicle Unavailable If the Partner fails to deliver the vehicle at the agreed time and location, the Platform will offer the Client: A replacement vehicle of equal or higher class, or A full refund of the prepayment The Platform assists with resolving such cases, but does not assume financial or legal responsibility for Partner failures. 4. Client Requirements 4.1. Age & Driving Experience Minimum age: 21+ Minimum driving experience: 3 years (Some vehicles may require a higher minimum age — listed individually on each car page.) 4.2. Documents Required at Pick-Up Valid passport Valid driver's license International Driver's Permit (IDP) — only for nationals of countries whose driving licenses are not recognized under Georgian law or where the format does not meet Georgian regulatory standards. 4.3. Pets Policy Pets are allowed only on designated vehicles and may require an additional cleaning fee, depending on Partner conditions. 5. Vehicle Condition & Partner Obligations 5.1. Vehicle Requirements Each Partner is responsible for ensuring that: The vehicle is clean, safe, and fully functional Technical inspection ("teqdatvaliereba") is valid Insurance (if provided) is valid and truthful Vehicle specifications listed on the Platform are accurate The Platform may adjust incorrect details to maintain listing accuracy. 5.2. Replacement Vehicle If a Partner cannot deliver the booked vehicle, they must provide an equal or higher class replacement at no additional cost to the Client. 5.3. Extras Some Partners offer additional services (e.g., child seats, booster seats). Availability and pricing are determined solely by the Partner. 6. Insurance Partners may offer the following insurance types: TPL (Third-Party Liability) Covers damages to third parties only. Limits may apply. CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) Reduces Client liability for damage to the rental vehicle. Deductibles may apply. Full Insurance Broader coverage, but never unlimited. Exclusions and limits depend on the Partner's policy. Important: Clients must report any accident or damage immediately to the Partner and follow their instructions. Driving a damaged vehicle without permission may void insurance coverage. 7. Platform Liability RentCarsGeorgia: Is not responsible for accidents, damages, injuries, legal disputes, or conflicts between Client and Partner. Is not a party to the rental contract between Client and Partner. Provides support and mediation to help resolve issues fairly, but is not financially liable for outcomes. The rental agreement is legally binding between Client and Partner only. 8. Prohibited Actions Clients and Partners must not: Create false, duplicate, or fraudulent bookings Provide incorrect or misleading information Operate vehicles under the influence of alcohol/drugs Use vehicles for illegal activities Transport pets in vehicles that are not marked as pet-friendly The Platform reserves the right to block or remove accounts violating these rules. 9. Data Protection & Privacy We store only the minimum necessary personal data required to process bookings and maintain security. We do not share data with third parties, except: When required by Georgian law When requested through an official court order or legal authority Data is stored in accordance with applicable privacy regulations. 10. Refunds Refunds (where applicable) are processed via bank transfer or the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution. 11. Jurisdiction & Governing Law All terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of Tbilisi City Court, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws. 12. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account, making a booking, or listing a vehicle, Clients and Partners confirm that they: Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions Agree to comply with all requirements Acknowledge the Platform's intermediary role These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Platform and its users.
